We recommend obtaining an attorney if you are injured in a car accident.  Insurance policies have restrictions and conditions that must be complied with in order to recover.  One such condition is that you must seek medical attention within fourteen (14) days.  Anybody injured can receive PIP coverage, at fault or not.  However, PIP only pays 80% of your medical bills and 60% of lost wages, up to $10,000.00.   Additionally, PIP recovery may be limited to $2,500 if it is not qualified as an emergency medical condition.  Case law and statutory law defines emergency medical conditions.  We will help enforce your PIP payment within thirty (30) days as required by Florida Law.  However, insurance companies may seek extensions up to sixty (60) additional days to investigate our claims.
