Biography

Alvaro A. Acevedo., is the founder and director of Brickell Law Group. Mr. Acevedo is one of the only attorneys in the United States that holds the three licenses recognized by the IRS (attorney, certified public accountant & enrolled agent) while simultaneously being awarded with the highest IRS representation credential: Fellowship of the National Tax Practice Institute. Mr. Acevedo is also a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS).

Mr. Acevedo has represented a wide range of taxpayers including international and domestic business entities, estates, individuals, and fiduciaries before every Internal Revenue Service’s administrative divisions: exam, collections, appeals, and criminal investigations. He has successfully represented a wide array of cases before the United States Tax Court. Mr Acevedo is an avid lecturer at the international legal center, a staff writer at the legal publication “Actualidad Juridica Empresarial” and has been recognized as one of the most recognized attorneys by Negocios magazine in Miami.
