Attorney Acevedo is a brilliant, extraordinarily respected Florida Bar Board Certified tax attorney with an international tax LLM from Georgetown (top two ranked program) He is a CPA and has achieved the highest of qualifications in tax and international law. He has had success in international transactions and taxation, corporate and business law, corporate bankruptcy, immigration and many other associated areas of law.<\/p>\n

Biography<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Alvaro A. Acevedo., is the founder and director of Brickell Law Group. Mr. Acevedo is one of the only attorneys in the United States that holds the three licenses recognized by the IRS (attorney, certified public accountant & enrolled agent) while simultaneously being awarded with the highest IRS representation credential: Fellowship of the National Tax Practice Institute. Mr. Acevedo is also a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS).<\/p>\n

Mr. Acevedo has represented a wide range of taxpayers including international and domestic business entities, estates, individuals, and fiduciaries before every Internal Revenue Service\u2019s administrative divisions: exam, collections, appeals, and criminal investigations. He has successfully represented a wide array of cases before the United States Tax Court. Mr Acevedo is an avid lecturer at the international legal center, a staff writer at the legal publication \u201cActualidad Juridica Empresarial\u201d and has been recognized as one of the most recognized attorneys by Negocios magazine in Miami. In 2016, Mr. Acevedo was named attorney of the year by Corporate Vision Magazine.  He was awarded as a Rising Star by Superlawyers in 2018.  <\/p>\n

Alvaro Acevedo is the only attorney in the United States to be a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute while holding all three licenses to represent before the IRS simultaneously: Attorney at Law, Certified Public Accountant, and Enrolled Agent. Al has represented and advised over 500 clients in both civil and criminal tax matters.
